74, of Kansas City, Mo., passed away September 4, 2009. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, September 6, 2009, at Muehlebach Funeral Home, 6800 Troost Ave., Kansas City, Mo., where the rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be 11:30 a.m. Monday at St. Elizabeth Church, 75th and Main Street, Kansas City, Mo. Inurnment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Missouri Right to Life. James was born November 23, 1934, in Kansas City, Mo., to Michael and Georgia Rose McCormack. He worked as a computer programmer before retirement. James was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, JoAnn McCormack, and a daughter, Nancy McCormack. Survivors include his wife, Mary Lou McCormack; children Mary Kanatzar, James W. McCormack, Jr., Terry Wolf, Tina Seeger, Kathy Grantham, Thomas McCormack, Barbara Goldstein, Steve McCormack, John McCormack and Amy Waris; 37 grandchildren, five great grandchildren; brother Mike McCormack; sister Sue McCormack, and several nieces and nephews.
